Fun.com is looking for an Email & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist. We are a rapidly growing e-commerce that specializes in toys, collectibles, Halloween costumes, t-shirts, hoodies, and other crazy contraptions that attract consumers from all walks of life. Our Email & CRO Specialist will play a critical role in customer retention and is primarily responsible for analyzing, planning, and strategizing our email campaigns while providing a supporting role in our conversion rate optimization initiatives. The right candidate must be willing to dive into the murky depths of customer data to identify which customers to target with marketing content and when.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of creativity, business and technical savvy, a passion for data insights, a big-picture vision for the future of email marketing and user experience, and the drive to make that vision a reality.  The Email and CRO Specialist will work intimately with Marketing, Customer Service, Merchandising, Product, Graphic Design, and technical professionals at all levels within the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Skillfully research, develop, execute, and continually optimize email marketing and website initiatives with a customer-centric, omni-channel focus
Identify KPIs that align with business goals, and leverage KPIs to drive and measure performance
Maintain detailed reporting on all campaigns and initiatives, accompanied by in-depth analysis and dissemination of key findings with stakeholders
Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM regulations, stay abreast of ISP best practices and deliverability metrics for multiple email programs
Ensure messages are proofread and tested prior to deployment and sent in proper form and templates
Manage workflow across multiple departments in order to deliver assets in an efficient manner
Aid in the ideation and implementation of new marketing, transactional, and automated email programs
Collaborate with our marketing, product, design, and technical teams to drive significant business impact through email and site optimization
Stay up-to-date on any new email, analytics, and CRO tools, applications and industry research
Merchandising tasks as they arise with the hyper seasonal nature of the Fun.com business model
Perform data analysis and other duties as needed

Requirements and Skill Sets:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Ability to make informed decisions quickly, based on collected data
Self-starter with a positive attitude and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
Results-driven with exceptional detail and knowledge around metrics, specifically A/B testing and ROI analysis
Love to work with large sets of data, creatively approach problems, and constantly optimize efforts
Understanding and working knowledge of HTML is a plus
Excellent written, verbal, communication and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail
Project management skills to manage calendars, creative and data needs and tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Economics, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Management, or other creative yet analytical discipline
Previous marketing and/or retail experience is a plus
Ridiculous amounts of pop-cultural knowledge – the geekier the better!
Strong knowledge of marketing principles, consumer behavior, and e-commerce fundamentals to help better inform decisions and strategy
Experience or certification in Google Analytics
